SIT Meeting 4-1-2015 - Heartbleed

Hello SITers!

Today our Vice President Daniel will be giving an awesome presentation about the Heart Bleed Vulnerability. To get hands on experience, you will need to make sure you have filled out the online ethics form at ufsit.org (Giant button that says mailing list) that way you will have access to the ndg virtual machines.

Following Daniel’s Presentation/exercises we will be having officer elections for people who submitted an email before 7:00pm on Tuesday with what position they would like to run for.

Also due to a scheduling conflict we will be meeting in CSE 312 instead of CSE 309 for the rest of the semester! This room is located in the same area as the lobby with couches.

SIT Meeting 3-11-2015 - Decompilers

Hello SITers,

Meetings will resume this Wednesday with an awesome presentation/series of challenges by our Vice President Daniel Gollahon! This should be a really fun meeting even if you’re new to reverse engineering since the only prerequisite is knowing a bit of Java.

If you would like to download the challenges ahead of time you can find them at https://github.com/ufsit/decompiling-3-11-2015. The gpg password will be released on the mailing list after the meeting.

Hope to see you there!
